Well, I just got back from witnessing the moving of the casket from the Hearse to the Caisson; right near the corner of Constitution and 16th, not to far from that great fellow who yelled "God Bless you, Nancy!"

And boy, what a great experience. There was lots of talking before the Hearse came, but toned down afterwards somewhat, but there was still constant chatter throughout the whole proceeding. When there was too much chatter or too loud laughter or just loud talking, people would "Sssssss!" them quiet. One guy had a tall but crumpled Uncle Sam type hat on, but once the Hearse came that hat got in the way of folks view and someone finely yelled "Clown Hat boy, remove that hat!" And many of us yelled "thanks" upon removal.

The applauding of Nancy two seperate times was very strong and loud from my vantage point; just so moving dispite my picture taking taking some of my attention, but it was just wonderful being there at that point in time and her waving to us upon the applauding.

God Bless Ron and Nancy and to the wonderful crowd with which I experinced a bit of history. I love DC.

What's your estimate on the crowds? And are they still coming?
