There was thread on FR the other day that called we X-ers "Generation Reagan" True enough. I am 34 and I come from a family of Roosevelt Democrats. My father in fact was a member of the Youth International Party. My formative years, however, were during the Reagan era and I am sure that has shaped my thinking to this day.
BTW, my Mom and Dad now have a Bush-Cheney bumpersticker on their car. 9/11 has changed everything. The Lord moves in mysterious way.
CNN says 100,000 people filing past the coffin.

i'm from a tree family (Roosesvelt democrats, Non-voting members of the family; voting democrat because he's a personal friend independent; etc) but I've always been a conservative (even at an early age)
For me, it's always been Ronnny Ray-Gun! So I guess that would make me a generation Ray-Gun!

I wonder...do the libs realize how badly they screwed themselves? How many of us who are now in our early thirties had nightmares about nuclear war because of the lib's struggle to make it appear it was just a Reagan-snit away? I remember waking up more than once, sweating in the dark, sure with al my being that the missiles were flying, and not able to stop and wonder how I "knew" that. They scared the crap out of us, and then he made it go away. And they wonder why we like him so much.
