The next generation is what it is all about. And no, I don't mean it as "it's fer the chillun" The WWII folks will always be The Greatest Generation, but I think we X-ers and our kids are going to really be something when it's all said and done.

My older children were tail-end Boomers and my youngest is a front-end Gen-Xer. The difference is night and day. The Gen-Xer is a gem. The other two.....I'm glad they live to far away to visit much.

I meant it in the more general sense. Each generation has a role in the future. "It" is not about us, not about any generation. Our duty is to our progeny. We preserve freedom for them.
