Bush should have come back to DC for this arrival ceremony. Seeing it now, the magnitude of it, its quite out of place that he is not there. Its less then a 2 hour flight from GA to DC.

My gut feeling tells me that President Bush probalby didnt' want to hinder the American public- can you imagine the hoopla and security and fuss if a sitting President was to attend? The security itself would distract from the event and make it a nightmare for the average Joe.
