I thought I'd add a couple notes about last night's repose in Simi Valley that I haven't seen or heard much note of FYI:

When the police began to finally shut down the lone road leading to the college as visiting time began to elapse last night, folks actually ditched their cars along the side of the roads to hoof it (run) to the end of the line in hopes of still making it.

After the public hours of repose were concluded they kept the repose open for a final 1-1/2 hour session for law enforcement types including those who'd provided security for the event itself (sheriffs were present on each & every bus leaving the college for the library after going through USSS posts).

I noticed this AM that the Reagans were supposed to have a small family ceremony before the former president was taken to the airport - they didn't have it & my guess is that they gave it up so that they could keep it open to others for as long as possible ... especially after what Kerry did.

Heads up--I ended up on CNN--Anderson Cooper says they're evacuating where a line was set up--he is being moved too.'

Let's pray it is extra caution and nothing sinister is afoot.

Best part he didn't have to do this for anyone...he merely did it because of the respect he has for himself and his ability to show respect for another...this is a TRUE image of the real America I am a part of.
