That's quite misleading. He gave a thumbs up in his limo, not at the service.
I don't think while leaving the library, a thumbs up was appropriate, no matter what. But then, of course, I'm kind of old fashioned.
Was it a limo, or was it the big ol' honkin' SUV that his family - not he himself - owns?
Even that was totally inappropriate.
He could have waved unobtrusively to his supporters, the way you just wave your hand once goodbye, or just nodded.
Misleading? You find it appropriate to give a thumbs-up in a limo, LEAVING A FUNERAL? I don't.
