Next time MSNBC shows Kerry approaching the casket, look to the rear of the shot and you'll see a guy holding up a handheld digitial recorder. Do you think this was Kerry's photographer?

I think so. I was able to see it live. Some guy walked in with the digital video camera...next thing ya see Kerry.

Yes, he is taking the shot that is in post 708. That wall with the lettering is right behind the fellow with the camera. It had to be a pro because 1) the "peasants" were not allowed to bring in cameras and 2) this shot got immediately into the wire stories. Those wire story shots are not from the broadcasters' web cams that are on. They say it is an AP stringer but I bet he is in the employ of Kerry. The wire story was too well coordinated to be a "spontaneius report"

It covered 1) Kerry was praying and was a Catholic, 2) said that he was just paying his respects - not campaigning, 3) hinted darkly about Bush using Reagan's death to politcal ends and 4) contrast Bush negatively with Reagan.

Obvioulsy a great deal of thought went into this bit of propaganda. My guess is that they huddled all weekend and this is what they came up with. There will be much, mcuh more.
