In approx 30 hours President Reagan will lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda, that is just downstairs from where Kerry has had an office for 18 or 20 years. There will be an official ceremony for members of Congress, members of Congress are invited to the state funeral and Kerry has already announced he will be attending. But you think that somehow Kerry elbowing his way to the front of the line is appropriate behavior while people who actually cared about President Reagan, supported him, voted for him must stand in the sun for hours just to pay their humble respects ??????? Oh, LordyGiveMeStrength. That is exactly how people like the Clintons and Kerry get elected.

Yeah, I forgot that he will lay in state in Washington.

My only point was that he should be allowed to pay his respects. Like everyone else.

If he didn't go, people would call it a snub.

Did that put him in a damned if he does, damned if doesn't position?

NO, because, he could have dropped in, paid his respects with trying to draw atention to himself.
