And that will not (obviously) happen because too many, like here on FR, are so committed to being embodiments of the kind of politicking Reagan despised that what will stand out most is the disrespect Kerry was given while he paid his respects, no matter how insincere he may or may not have been.

I'm with you, but if the man brought his own camera he certainly isn't making it easy to refrain from commenting.

I can see allowing him to cut in line ahead of people for his moment, but the cameraman thing is horrible.

And I don't know his true feelings about Reagan, no matter his kind words, and no one else does either - but that's between him and God. Personally, I think he's a lying, dishonest, opportunistic scum.

But that's no reason to deride him at this time, again, in a style which Ronald Reagan himself consistenly rejected as being below what America's leaders and poltical folks should be.

Some of my fellow Reaganites here are showing themselves to be poor representatives of his heart and ideology through their words and conducts in this.
