A LOT of people who didn't belive as Reagan did and probably said some nasty things about him are going there as well.
That doesn't stop them for having some respect for the man, even if it's only brought on by the moment.
Why would you be making excuses for/attempting to justify what Kerry did? He can do this in Washington with the rest of the America-hating liberals later this week. He doesn't need to hog the spotlight and inconvenience 'the little people' who don't have the luxury of going to the ceremony in DC.
Try to pay attention:
Kerry is invited to the service on Friday with all the OTHER senators.
He's doing this as a photo op for his CAMPAIGN.
