If you run on the Internet the quot; "Crescent and the Swastika"; this will explain what I mean. When this article mentioned the Muslim SS unit deployed in Yugoslavia during WWII this really emphasized the strength of this nexus that exists between the Germans and the Muslim world and apparently even today. It was evident even after the war had ended when certain Muslims were protected by the underground ODESSA organization. The Syrian SSNP party was based on the Nazi model for example. When one wonders why things are the way they are today the past will always give you hints. Again a great post.
