I Wrote:

May God's arms embrace and comfort you.

My father was a very big man with long strong arms that could wrap around all five of his kids and hold them in one big loving embrace. That is how I picture the Heavenly Father embracing your family during these sad days. Ronald Reagan was a president who changed my life, and I will truly miss him. My family was also the original "Reagan Democrats", and during his administration, he changed the way we looked at politics, at family values, and our Countries history and future. He is and will always be our hero.

Thanks for the link, Dila. I sent the poem I wrote the day he passed away.

As we all cling to each other
and freely share our tears,
For our beloved Ronald Reagan,
Whom we've loved for many years
Has gone to join Our Heavenly Father
And in His Presence stands
The Gipper's found comfort beneath His Wing
And peace within His Hands.

So let us continue to hold each other
Remembering whom we loved
Dry our tears and raise our eyes
Up to the skies above.
For Reagan now remembers us
His memories have returned
And so we embrace the things we shared
And all the things we learned.

Ronnie, we love ya, this you know
And we are not alone
In thanking God for sharing you
And now He's brought you home.
We'll do our best to make you proud
And with God's help we will
For one day we will join you in
The Shining City On A Hill.
