Reporterette then goes on to explain how Reagan and his team knew their jobs better than they did, they knew how to go over media and politics talk directly to the people. Also she was amazed that most people didn't listen to the left wing talking heads as much as they processed the imagery on the tv. Decisions are made pretty wuick.

That reporterette was Lesley Stahl.

Speaking of reporters. I recall pretty lighthearted moment during the video presentation at the Correspondent's Dinner where they noted that Ronald Reagan liked the color red, he points to a reporterette wearing red, she asks a question, he answers it, points to Helen Thomas who's raised her hand, and he said "Next time wear red" and the reporters all laughed and Ronald Reagan had that trademark smile on his face.
