true that.. I was at the theatre this evening protesting...All the malcontents were there tonite. I could generalize who cussed at me or flipped me off...no job, grungy, young or old hippie, called me a Nazi, cried about free speech, etc.
People in the mainstream drove by, honked, thumbs up, said thanks, etc.
You decide, who's on the side of America and not...
I wish I could say that was true. But after reading the news articles it seems Bradbury didn't make too much of a noise, and only because Moore had not asked him for permission.
This is NOT a matter 'choice' or taste, IT'S A MATTER OF THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRY AND THE CONTINUATION OF OUR LIVES.
uhhhhhh,
It's just a movie.
It'll attract the 47 percent of the population that will vote for kerry no matter what.
It will be ignored by the 47 percent who will vote for bush no matter what.
The other 6 percent can make up their own minds.
It's just a movie.
Settle down

The Entertainment Weekly editor is on CNN right now and he said the movie was exactly what we say, a totally unfair BASH BUSH. He said he isn't a Bush guy, but the movie was SO UNFAIR he felt the need to DEFEND BUSH!!
ok,
I stand by my previous statements.
Ridicule it.
From what I gather, it ranks right up there with the Rocky Horror Picture Show
A obvious obnoxious approach is not needed, perhaps one could watch the flix as one would approach Movie Theater 3000 - looking for bad cinematography.

Editorialize I dunno, what ever comes to mind, something like
"The air space WAS open"
"Liar"
"Gawd your fat"
The only downside is that these tactics might lead to ejection or a unwanted physical confrontation.
I think if it is done in the right spirit it might fly.
I was glad to man the Carousel FReep from 12 to 4 today. Location was great. Alternating traffic flows. Constant procession of multi inhabited vehicles. Parking only 100 feet away. Lavatory and refreshment facilities same distance. Constant police and security patrols. Good choice Jon.
Response was excellent. I smiled and waved back to all the friendly smiles, waves, thumbs up, honks, fist pumps, shouts of 'Bush' etc. Answered a few "what's this all abouts". Just as fun was wishing a nice day to the few thumbs down, flipped birds, the 2 *you sucks*, 2 Kerry shouts, and one 10y.o. making the LOSER sign out her window.
All, and yes I said all, of the pedestrians that passed by, smiled and greeted. One fellow stood around for a few minutes observing, then remarked, "Boy, lots of response". I agreed. He stopped and waved again as he exited the nearby store tapping his pack of smokes. One gent about 20y.o. was rather enthusiastic from the passenger seat as his car passed by. About 5 minutes later he came walking up smiling. We chatted. He told me to keep up the good fight. Alas though, he couldn't sign my Conservative Party nominating petitions and darned if I didn't forget to bring registration forms.
About 3:40 the press shows up. Mr. Reporter had just come from viewing IT. He asked, I talked, he wrote. When he got to the inevitable "Did you see the movie?" I replied, "No sir, I don't need to step in dog sh%# to know it stinks." He chuckled and asked if he could change that to *dog crap* being a family show and all you know. You see he was on guard after I had amended one of my earlier statements and cautioned him not to take poetic license and add any words to my statement. I gave him contact information and answered his questions regarding PABAAH's protest scheduling then invited him back later today or during the weekend to meet up with Jon.
Said No and a traitor and his film and yeah that gave me a nice warm fuzzy feeling. Just wish I could of signed that kid up. Oh well, the seed was planted. Peace. Out.
We received many thumbs up and hoots and car horn toots. One girl flipped us the bird. Many folks said things like, "Thanks for saying what needs to be said, keep up the good work".
One lady drove by as she was exiting the Mall and her passenger showed his Fahrenheit 9/11 propaganda tickets. She had a distressed look on her face and said, "A vote for Bush is a vote for blood". We exploded with "YES!! We are gonna spill ALL THE TERROSISTS BLOOD"! She looked like she was gonna pass out! We were CHARGED UP with that!
See #90
I am envisioning works of greatness!! Thanks.
