Question - Why haven't we likened the Iraqi transition to democracy to the post-war trasitions in Germany and Japan? Is it just more media left-wing bias (i.e., avoid saying/doing anything that might reflect positively on Bush) or is it simply not analagous?

When did the Iraqi oil money for UN thief Brahimi again begin to flow into his personal accounts? Did he, in fact, ever actually miss a payment? How can the US allow a slimey thief like Brahimi to take any leadership role after he opposed us just to protect his cut of the loot?

God bless our troops for removing Saddam when the Iraqis tried and failed and died by the thousands attempting to do so for decades.

God bless our troops for making it possible for the UN rep to negotiate a representative government within a now free Iraq, after our troops toppled Saddam and removed thousands of neighborhood thugs, and our troops, civil affair workers, civilian and coalition and native Iraqi allies across Iraq worked to set up neighborhood advisory councils, and win the trust and teach local Iraqis about representative government and free elections.

God bless our troops for paying the price in blood, sweat and tears for the freedom of others, even when their glory is stolen by others who live by lesser ideals, for lower worldly standards of vanity - power, greed, fame.

It is a good day for freedom, and for the Iraqi people.
