Thanks for your comments, but I can't disagree with you more.

PA is not a socialist state. Philadelphia and Pittsburgh maybe, but not the rest of the state.

The GOP controls bother houses of the General Assembly, the AG office, has two Senators with an "R" after his name, and a House delegation that is primarily GOP.

The only reason that we don't have a GOP governor is that we didn't put up a challenger in the last election -- a long story for another day.

Had Bush and Santorum stayed out of the primary, we would have had two conservative (not just Republican) senators. And even with the WH, the party and $14 million, Specter won by a lousy 12,000 votes. Toomey had $3 milion and a committed and dedicated grassroots base eager to see him win.

12,000 votes out of 1.2 million. A stinking 1 point win.

Confused maybe, but definitely not socialist. Not in PA.

Ok... maybe I was thinking of New York, or Taxachuetts.. or New Jersey.. or Welafare..
