I just checked in after a brief respite; how many people have brought up foreign films?

One of my favorites was made by Sergei Eisenstein. It didn't directly relate to the problems of the Nazi invasion, but it served as a moral allegory meant to raise Russian spirits on the front.

I think it was called "Alexander Nevsky" if memory serves me correctly.

That movie was a warning to the Germans not attack USSR. Why they should not attack.
