I know I was single once! Although we would always complain about the men in the area of course! Is Gambits still around at the Marriott in Tarrytown? I know the Rye Town Hilton had a bar that was also a pick up place you would like.
I'm probably closer to your age and so pick-up places are pretty much a thing of the past. Gambits is still there, but not like it was back in the mid to late 1980's, where it was the place to go on Fridays after work and into the evening. Saturday nights were great also. There was also the Sports Page and the Single Wing, and a lot of Irish Pubs in Yonkers.
