How would you identify a muslim from an indian?

We are 3/4 Cherokee, 1/4 Scots, when I look at the old sites of Afghanistan, with the normal lives of the residents, I see in many of them myself (when young), my brother and his son.

I would think that we could go there dress as they do and keep our mouths shut and pass.

I ran across Creek Indians. Which my gggrandmother was full blooded. In doing my family tree for over 5 years now I was at a dead end with her.
