Welcome back, jstolzen! I was thinking about you recently and wondering if you and your family were ok since you hadn't posted here in a long time. Glad you are back.

Big humungous hugs to JP. I will also be watching Meltdown on FX tonight. My thoughts and good wishes remain with you, sweetheart.

Thanks!

Jill & Sean both do a good job digging, but I wonder if we have collaboration from any other sources?

I followed all of this very closely last year, and remember thinking that it was virtually a certainty that we were going to see a fission-based attack (based on all of the message board 'chatter', things Sean & Jill dug up, etc) by the end of 1424 (or whatever the heck it was). But, that came..and went..and no mushroom clouds over NYC (or anywhere else on US soil).

I still think a lot of this is psyops. On the other hand, it is CERTAINLY PLAUSIBLE that the bad guys have suitcase nukes in their possession. Who was it - Lebed - you know, the highest ranking Russian military official ever to defect - that went on 60 Minutes talking about this (and in front of Congress). Funny how he died in a "freak accident" (google it) shortly thereafter..

The material Nynquist (sp) posts at TFP is also very plausible but also totally frightening.

The M-3 Fed Money pumping thing has me spooked. That, plus the Naval Manuvers (unheard of & apparently unscheduled) & Tenet's resignation. Too many "dots" connecting for my liking right now, with the M-3 thing being the biggest alarm bell ringing. Something is NOT right with that..what's the Fed afraid of? Complete meltdown of US markets? (And it'd have to be a meltdown of EPIC proportions to absorb that kind of $$$$s into M-3).

I guess we'll never know, until either nothing happens, or a few cities go up in vapors.

God help us that the bad guys don't have "the big toys". Clealy, SOMETHING has TPTB spooked right now. And spooked, big-time!!

I have no doubt that there are some nukes of some sort in the US just waiting.

(I always remember the story JFK -- the original, not JFKerry!--told to Hugh Sidey. That the Russians had one at their embassy in DC...it wouldn't surprise me if ME diplomats have pulled this too.)

Here's what puzzles me though.

Why would terrorists use them? The areas will be uninhabitable for decades.

Are they so ignorant that they don't realize it? (I know their scientists know otherwise.) Or do they just figure they can wait decades to collect our land once it's cleaned up?

Anybody have any guesses/ideas?

it seems to indicate a possible apocalypse of atomic proportions in 2006 and starting with an act of terror in the middle east

Does that mean we have to keep this thread going until 2006? :-)

I wonder if the Saudi's can really protect themselves and their oil. I have a feeling we will be coming to their defense....just like AQ wants us to do.

Thanks, Donna Lee! Good to see so many long-timers still here!

I gave up on the TM thread for a while after nothing happened by the end of 1424 (as we all thought it might). Convinced myself that "EOM" and his cronies were actors (kids, psyops, whatever), and that it was all one big ruse.

The thing that got my attention again is the M-3 situation and the huge military movements. Something is obviously going on, and this time they're warning us ahead of time..(CYA) with Ashcroft, Ridge, etc. ("Expect AQ to hit us 'HARD'"). Oh, and I almost forgot - Congress passing that law about what happens if 2/3 (or whatever - I forget) of them getting wiped out with a WMD attack. Maybe this is just good planning..maybe they know something.

I'd think Washington or NYC would be targets #1 and #2. If I see anything happen there, I'm getting the heck out of dodge ASAP, because we'd have no idea what's next.

Sure..they don't want the land.

They simply want to make us pull out of Iraq, the ME in general, etc.

A few well-placed nukes would accomplish the objective quite nicely. Kind of a "we have more. Now, want to reconsider?".

Let's hope they don't.

Well, then I don't understand.

What's with the dirty bomb stuff that everyone says makes areas uninhabitable for ages? Why do they always say that?

It's true, I guess Hiroshima was back in use pretty soon. But how much radiation poisoning was there? I haven't looked at figures for that but they must be around.

The city of Detroit has 50% of the population of the United States within a 500 mile radius.

I didn't realize that. Probably more than 50% of Canada's population, as well.

Yes, I am spooked.

I don't want to believe all this, either- it reads like science fiction sometimes.

But when I look at (the little) we know that has transpired in the past year or so, the massive (but yet inadequate) preparations our country has made, the current military maneuvers, Aschroft's speech, radiation and bio meters in the cities, stolen tankers and chemicals all over the place; AQ's ceaseless threats and raw HATRED for us----

I have come to the conclusion that our worst fears are quite true. Also, I do believe the Russians have actively aided AQ in obtaining the WMD's and expertise.

Not good.

alot of it is media hype. not that a dirty bomb attack wouldn't be significant, but the effects are overblown.

I wonder the same thing. I've read over and over in their rants their reasoning for using WMD- along with apologies to the American people and to the impact of their actions on "future generations". Not good. The latter implies lingering bio/rad. They say that they have weighed the pros and cons, and have taken it all into account- and will use the wmd "hittings."

Then they have some cleric issue "judgements" or something like that-saying it is justified to use these weapons against us because we are the enemies of Islam.

put things in perspective. they are allocating and spending untold billions on homeland defense. They've got to do something with that money, right? They had better be buying radiation sensors, and conducting drills, and making plans, and increasing security, and buying antibiotics and vaccines, and increasing military capabilities. What else are they going to do with all that spending?

Exsoldier: I also read book 2 of the Bible Code almost 2 years ago now. I do not have the book anymore. I recall it mentioning something about a possible nuke attack in Israel and also in DC in 2005 or 2006. Is this right? Was DC also referenced?

One impressive part of the book that I read was the seemingly foretold murder of Rabin.

Also, I remember a news blurb on a religious website about 2 years ago reporting that the author, Drosnin, met with a GWB administration staffer. I thought that was interesting.

Oorang: Yup, we will need to keep the TM thread floating for a for more years if nothing happens sooner...We may all end up with a ping to Threat Matrix, Thread 16!

I guess the suitcase nukes aren't terribly huge--but the one kiloton ones?

I am glad they are doing all of this. I get worried when they say that no matter what they do, they cannot stop them.
