I'm not so much worried what our military might do if we suffer another attack. They will know what to do -- outside our borders. Can you imagine the fury that will be unleashed by the average Citizen inside the U.S. if we take another hit by these crazies.? That is going to be worrisome.

Once it becomes clear that the government is unable to cover all the bases to protect the population, the population will be required to protect themselves. I would not expect the government to do what I wouldn't do for myself. The people empowered the government to perform certain tasks. If the government is unable to perform those things, we must perform the task ourselves until the threat is removed -- permanently. The government will be needing our help and we will be needing the help of government where necessary.

Time to set aside rage and fury and start doing some serious planning. It's time to open the armories and start issuing weapons to every able-bodied. That's why we built them. If the world is to survive this threat to ciliization, America must lead the way by showing other nations how to clean house.

And no, I don't think I'm over-reacting. We are at war on many levels already and we've already lost the propaganda war waged by those who are not our primary enemy. There is no reason to expect that we will not be at war on a physical level in this country. We must have the mind-set for it well in advance, if it isn't already too late.

Something that you said may be the current message from the enemy contained in its warning to us, quote:

"Here's what we can do to you and to Israel. Think carefully before deciding your next move."

I would turn that around and tell the enemy to think long and hard before deciding its next move. It could prove fatal to them on a global scale -- but first and foremost in America.

Another hit ... another yawn.

3-4 hits and the bloodletting will begin in the USA. And you could not PAY me to be a muslim after that.

IMHO, we should immediately empower and support the factions within Iran that are willing to fight and overthrow the mullahs and Ayatolahs.

We should also begin a much larger mobilization to take the developing situation in Iran into account and the growing, escalating tensions, threats and situation in Asia (China and N. Korea).

At the same time, we should immediately start a Homegaurd Program that has the Sheriff's deputizing, training and arming (the training and equipment provided by the Federal government) every able boided man who volunteers to watch over and protect infrastructure between the ages of say 19 and 55. Operational control by the Sheriff...but escalation to the State Police, National Guard and North American Command as required.

Unless we do things like this...if we wait until these enemies act on their onw timetable, then we will face a horrific, real World War III along the lines of what os described in the Dragon's Fury Series.

The novel series was written expressely as a warning of this very thing, in the hopes that an exciting tale could get a message out in a form that people would read and internalize. Things are starting to look entirely too much like the novels.
