I just wish people were listening right now.
As you know, John Kerry has been under attack on the internet recently by George Bush’s cadre of rightwing veterans. Their distortions, lies, half-truths, and phony, doctored photographs are an affront to every one of us who has ever worn the uniform of our country. We must fight back for John’s sake, and our own.
As part of their hate campaign, a tiny, fringe group of rightwing veterans has been using phony, doctored photographs, distortions of John’s record, and outright lies. We cannot allow them to attack John unchallenged. The following article is from today’s New York Times and sets forth in no uncertain terms John McCain’s opinion of one of the leaders of these attacks against John. Please distribute this article widely, but at the least distribute it to all your vet contacts - and ask them in turn to distribute it to their vet contacts. We must fight back for John – and we must do so now.
