It would be hard for me to believe that anyone at this forum, or anyone on the jury, could even remotely begin to honestly find guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

If anything, it's more like finding guilt for her filing false charges, although an insanity defense is plausible for her.

If I were the Colorado attorney assigned to prosecute this case, I would beg to be reassigned, or I'd flat out quit. There is no way I'd let my career be destroyed by prosecuting a case that would inevitably portray me nationally as a fool.

The guy's name is Hurlbert, and he's the Eagle County DA.

He's already the fool. He says he has airtight evidence, yet doesn't seem to know what the defense attorney, Pamela Mackey, knew three months ago!, that this accuser had sex with someone after her encounter with Bryant.

Mark Hurlbert did this to himself; most of the attorney in Eagle who sat in on the hearings said on the very first day he should drop the case.

And I guess quite a few people around here owe Pamela Mackey an apology, huh?
