Skimming his blog I find it difficult to separate him from the neocons.

There is more to neoconservativism than an activist foreign policy.
Auster does not believe that all cultures can accept democracy. He does not support democratizing the middle east.
As for domestic policy, he believes in a Constitutionally limited government. However, his main issue is the culture of Anglo-America. Moreover, he is a racialist.
