I want a nice large catholic family. I don't consider children to be an inconvenience.

,,, children are one thing: an investment in the future.

In addition to my full time job, I've always worked part time jobs to power myself around the world on trips everywhere. In 1987 when I first took a trip to Asia and everyone was sucking on Champagne bottles and making wonderful amounts of money on the pre-crash October market, a woman in one of these jobs I had said to me "all you ever talk about is how much you've made on the market, cars and material things." I mustered the quiet wrath of my collected wisdom and shot back at her, "what else is there?"

She informed me that when you have kids, you take on a different kind of richness. Sure you do. Her words made sense to me, but only when my daughter was born. To this day I've never forgotten what she said. She was 100% right.

My daughter turned 14 today.
