CNN had Joe Biden-in-the-box popping out to disseminate the DNC talking points immediately.
Joe Conasen, I think that's who it was, on PMSNBC giving his, ahem, erudite opinion.

Actually, the local ABC affiliate in Colorado Springs did carry it live.
I checked them all to be sure. So I watched their coverage and sent them a note thanking them.
I sent the other local stations a note telling them what bums they are.

If you don't have Fox News, you are uninformed and a victim of liberal censorship. It doesn't cost that much for a basic cable subscription, and you could drop the fish wrapper newspaper to pay for it. That's what we did.

Here in Louisville, KY, the NBC affiliate carried the MSNBC feed. Saw a few moments of it...
...before the Deaniac I married turned it off.

From what I've heard last night is a part of sweep weeks, so that may be why it wasn't carried on anything but cable channels. Also the White house did not specifically ask for time on the major networks.

Fox News Channel is broadcast to Iraq.
I think the speech was partly for the Iraqi people and partly to refute the carping of the partisan left that "Bush has no plan."
Now they know what "the plan" is -- the same plan he's had since day one.
Now the complaint is "he didn't say anything new."
LOL! Our President just can't win for losing.

The speach was on NBC here in Atlanta. I was shocked. I don't know if it was just an Alanta feed.

In Indonesia, we had the speech on CNBC, BBC, CNN, Fox, and Singapore's all news channel. None of the Indonesian channels were carrying it. Nor were the French, Japanese, Chinese and Italian channels we get over here.
