Just keep driving the Jewish vote to the Bush column

What's so important about Jewish votes? The Jewish population of the US is about 2.5%, and if we have a one-vote-one-person democracy, then numbers count for what they are. Unless, of course, we have some other factors obscured by the phrase "Jewish vote."

Allegations by right-wing extremists and anti-Semitic organizations about Jewish "control" of the media, politics, etc. in America are steadfastly discarded and denied by public officials and the media.

I believe that they are ill-founded allegations and that they are false and sinister. By the same token, I also believe that the jewish vote counts no more than 2.5% of the total vote and that makes it less than the importance some tend to assign it.

Jews vote in disproportionately high numbers. I believe that the turnout in 2000 was over 80%.
Jews are not spread evenly over the entire country. Most Jews live in NY, CA, FL, NJ, MI, OH, PA and CT. Flordia, New Jersey, Ohio, and Pennsylvnia are battleground states.

Actually the Jewish vote is about 4% of the electorate, because Jews vote in far higher percentages than non-Jews. It's also highly concentrated -- making it a big force in battleground states like Florida (600,000 Jews) and Pennsylvania (300,000 Jews). The difference between 20% of the Jewish vote and 40% of the Jewish vote in Florida is 120,000 votes -- a whopping number in a close race.

Even more important than Jewish votes is Jewish money (this is a Jew speaking, btw). Jews are very politically active, generally upper-income, and traditionally big Democratic donors. Even if you don't win Jewish votes, if you dissuade enough Jews from giving to the Dhimmicrats, you've accomplished a lot.
