The Republicans win either way on this one. If McCain becomes the dem vp, it is because they couldn't find a qualified dem.
If he doesn't, then whoever does become the dem vp candidate will be their second choice.

They also know she's lying through her teeth when she pretends to be moderate, especially on the abortion issue. Wasn't she a featured, enthusiastic and disgraceful speaker at the pro-abortion march last month?
Bingo! Hillary Clinton was a speaker and for anyone that would swallow her being moderate and a supporter of the military, I have some swamp land for sale in Arizona!
