If, as the DIA reportedly believes (Newsday), Chalabi is part of an Iranian Intelligence operation given access at the highest levels in our Government, sponsored by Cabinet and near-Cabinet-level officials, we are about to see Watergate become a quaint pecadillo.

Yup...

'‘Conservative’ Imperialists Head Bush Administration'... A new form of “conservative imperialism” with roots in the ranks of an elite group of “former” Trotskyite leftists is emerging as a major force among top-level policy makers in the Bush administration. Exclusive To American Free Press

This whole Paleo versus Neo thing is really way overdone.

Most folks here are something of a hybrid between the two.

The rest of this squabble is just infighting crap with lots of innuendo and smearing that sounds like Dems or the Media talking about Republicans.

There are plenty like me who are Hawks (Neo) and Culture Righties (Paleo)....the whole affair is quite tiring.

We should all concentrate on the prize....not who is conservative enough or not.

The alternative is anthema for Neo or Paleo or Neleo

No purging of the NeoCons ... it's essential wa have plausible deniability for believing in the likes of "western-educated, secular member(s)" of Shias and other absurdities.

Senator Hollings and some of you seem to think the Jews influence America. The Jews can't control who gets on a bus and blows everyone to Kingdom Come. They have a lot of unemployment and money problems.

The wealthy and influential people in this country have ties to Saudi Arabia, not Israel. It is the Saudis who have the American lawyers, the public relations firms, the money to buy media, the oil companies, etc. It was Saddam who was paying off agents of influence in France, Russia, church circles (via the Russian Orthodox Church), the Middle East, Britain, Canada, America, etc., with the oil voucher money. Perhaps they even bought a US Senator. Even Saddam's bumbling spies should be able to buy a South Carolina racist.

Perhaps the price of having the oil production go up, getting European help before the election, and damping down the embarrassing-to-European oil voucher scandal was discrediting Chalabi and letting Brahimi take over. Maybe Chalabi isn't the "crook" that the Jordanians, the State Department and CIA claim he is. Mabye he does have information about the oil voucher scandal. If this comes out, the Euros won't help us solve the problems in Iraq.

Chalabi has told the CIA things that they ignored and this pissed them off.

Perhaps the White House is deciding to get out before the election and putting a smily face on it. After all, wasn't it Bremmer who said we would leave Iraq if asked?

We can't leave Chalabi in control because he won't be able to control the chaos. If we are leaving we need to leave in a Saddam with a human face. That would be Brahimi and the Arab nationalists. They will crack heads but nobody will want to notice.

Bush will get the oil; He will take the air out of Kerry's sails; and the Iraqi people will get whatever. Hopefully it won't be as bad as Saddam was.

And the Jews? Hopefully the Arab nationalist we are installing (again) will not be paying off suicide bombers to murder Jews. But I don't hold my breath. Sooner or later the Arabs will murder them all. And we will not help.

I guess Bush is going on TV and we will get the candy-coated version.

Trust me, folks, when people speak of "the Neocons", they really mean "the Jews".

If Chalabi was working for the Iranians, we might have busted him after we rolled up some of their assets. God knows what is going on right now. But I can tell you what isn't going on. There's not some Neocon Hooked Nosed Jewish Bankers' Conspiracy to hand America over to the Likudniks, that's for damn sure.

Be Seeing You,

Chris
