Gotta go now, but I've got an interesting read for you from today's L.A. Times WRT how soft Bush is on terrorism:
The State Department is scrambling to revise its annual report on global terrorism to acknowledge that it understated the number of deadly attacks in 2003, amid charges that the document is inaccurate and was politically manipulated by the Bush administration.

What's interesting here is that Powell actually agreed to reissue the report.

Sounds like the report is being reissued to include post-11/11 attacks, as it should be. However, THIS...

"...the State Department appeared to be using outdated criteria to determine what constituted a terrorist incident. For instance, the many deadly attacks on coalition forces in Iraq were not included in the "Patterns" report because they did not meet the State Department's long-standing criteria of targeting civilians or soldiers not on duty."

...is ridiculous. We're in a war in Iraq, and there's no way you can include wartime activities as acts of terror. Waxman's overreaching here, as the facts clearly prove that our War On Terrorism is succeeding with flying colors!!
