"...the President does what he thinks best, and neither kowtows to nor gives the 'cold shoulder' to anyone."

I am sure he does, 'cuz he's a genuinely good man, like his father. However, like his father, he seems overly-enamoured with the supposed "GOOD" that can be accomplished by an ever-expanding Federal Leviathan. This PaidVolunteerism program that SlickWillie started and Dubyuh increased spending on is a great example...what a pork-laden crock!!

"I figured you knew that much about him by now. Why would you expect him to be a straightline conservative in office, when he didn't campaign as one? He is who he is."

Call me anive if you wish, however, I think Dubyuh is a lot more conservative than his domestic spending record would indicate so far. In my estimation, that is a result of Dubyuh's triangulating hisself between Moderates and Conservatives in his own Party. To me, Conservatism IS Compassionate and this Lib'ral domestic spending agenda is BAD fer America. The Bush Adminsitration needs to get this message before November.

"I'm not sure we would survive a Kerry presidency."

Fortunately, we will never have to see who's right on this...the RATS have nominated a LOSER!!

"This is about the life of this nation, not money, MUD. We can afford a deficit."

It's more than about the deficit, it's an understanding that the Federal Leviathan is TOO BIG and TOO INTRUSIVE. It needs to be pared back and I believe it'll happen in Dubyuh's second term.

FReegards...MUD
