family has contracted with independent auditors Ernst & Young

I highly doubt and CPA firm would take this contract. Its not something they do.

E&Y isn't just a CPA firm these days. Like Toilet & Douche - oops, I mean Deloitte & Touche - it's branched into business consulting of various kinds.
