I don't think that would be a good idea in a tank. Gun tube orientation is kinda important. If your gun tube points wherever you look, you better be damned careful where you look.
Gun tubes can do damage, especially to buses. I would probably have gotten away with it if I had been on the tank trail instead of the hard ball.
