I saw the same thing. After not seeing a headline at all about the sarin find, not even on their middle east page that has articles listed by date, I did a site search for "sarin" and the only mention was as you said - deep in an article about something completely different. Unbelievable.
I've been monitoring the lack of this story on CNN for hours now. I don't expect to see it, there can be no debate now as to their motives.
