Herman Cain has been fighting for tax reform for years now. The senate seat isn't an end in and of itself for him - it's a platform to allow him to work on the big issues that he cares about. #1 on that list is Fundamental Tax Reform.
His opponents have signed onto the FairTax bill in the House, but Isakson has also waffled lately, calling for a commission to write a new tax code. What a cop-out!

Fortunately, Georgians have their heads on straight with respect to national security, so it allows them to give fair consideration to other subjects on their merits.
