Because Disney employs many high priced lawyers who know how to drag out a lawsuit over many years. Unless you have a lot of determination and hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay for your own legal fees, it usually isn't worth it for most people to sue a large corporation like Disney.
I am sure she could get donations to pay for it. Their are a lot of orgs that are gunning for disney.
