Worth re-posting...again and again and again...

"The disability rights community is not confused by those who would pervert good end-of-life care into a system for ending the lives of people deemed incompetent to make their own decisions. People with brain injury, dementia and labels of "mental retardation" have always been the first targets of the euthanasia movement and the bioethicists who are working to eliminate constitutional protections which any of us may one day need."

Very well worth reposting! Thank you.

I wonder, what about trying to get additional legislation through your legislature?

What about a bill that says in effect, that if a person wins a monetary settlement in a medical lawsuit based on the life expectancy of the victim; the money may not be used for anything but the care of the victim. And if that victim should happen to die without leaving any children, all unspent monies would go into a public fund, like medicare?
