Sort of a 'kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out' foreign policy? Brilliant. Unethical, virtually impossible, and mindless. You've gone from 'hunting WMDs' to 'establishing democracy' to calling for action to make the entire nation bereft of life if necessary. Iraq won't even have to worry about post June 30th. There won't be anyone left.
I haven't gone from anything to anything.
We are in a war on terror and terrorists, much as you would like people to forget that.
Iraq has been a breeding ground for terrorism for years. They were funded by Saddam. Learned WMD making in Iraq. Trained at Salman Pak on how to hijack airplanes. Worked directly with Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden for over 10 years.
We simply cannot react each time we are attacked and go after the few who attacked us. They are typically dead anyway in their suicide attacks.
Saddam was a threat to the United States for many reasons, although your narrow view doesn't permit you to see that.
And although you frequently say the mission in Iraq has changed over time, saying doesn't make it so. The president has maintained since first talking about Iraq that we were going to war to rid the world of a brutal dictator, find and destroy his WMD, bring freedom and if possible democracy to Iraq which would serve as a model to the rest of the Middle East, and leave Iraq a better place than we found it.
"Sort of a 'kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out' foreign policy? Brilliant. Unethical, virtually impossible, and mindless. "
Hey genius, wwe aren't telling all the terorists from Iran, Syria and the PA to come to Iraq and blow themselves up in the name of Allah. But it's better that we get them all there than have them do it here. It's actually saving us from some extent of having to go to the different countries sponsoring terrorism and taking them out. The mountain is coming to Mohammed so to speak.
Once again you're proving your ignorance of Iraq. But please continue I love hitting softball theories like yours outta the park.
I though you Liberaltarians were smarter than that! Or is it that Boortz is just the exception to the rule?
