Smart move! I was in the Research Triangle area last night...returning from viewing the WWII Memorial, an awe-inspiring memorial to "the greatest generation." The dedication is scheduled for May 27. (I had a cousin killed at the Battle of the Bulge, an uncle in North Africa, and 3 cousins ...brothers...in the navy: destroyer, submarine, and aircorps..gunner.) I revere them all.
Yes. When my mom and dad come out for their annual pilgramage to see the grandkids, I am going to drive everyone up to washington DC to see the sights (Gonna hop over to Tenn to see Dollywood with them as well...)
Know what? I revere your relatives, too. They set the example for those who followed in their footsteps (me). I hope that my generation of service members can leave a similar legacy for those who will follow us.
