If I am incorrect...then tell me where my information is wrong and enlighten me.

I work in an ICU and we have to be prepared for mass casualty attacks regarding nerve agents. The antidotes and the antidotes to the antidotes aren't inconsequential. You just don't get one shot of atropine and boom its' like nothing ever happened!

You ever seen atropine psychosis? I have and have given gogentin and artane for it.

I have administered Atropine hundreds of times myself. I didn't say that it was one time administration and it is cured.

My point is this is not a situation where the "cure" is worse than the exposure.

Atropine can be given in very high dosages for this type of poisoning.

The fatal level of overdose with atropine is not known. Death would occur if the supportive care the patient needed is not done. (respiratory depression, etc)

I just don't want people to feel hopeless about our troops over there.

If they get treatment with atropine and supportive care almost all of them will survive, most likely without lasting effects.
