this is the problem with the white house - there should be a press briefing going on right now, this instant. Not to make a broad WMD claim, but just to highlight the incident and say its being investigated, yada yada. Instead, they wait around, poke at each other, and the media gets the jump on them to spin it as pesticide, or left over from the Iran/Iraq war, etc. This is a perfect example of how bad the white house media strategy is - they have no war room, and its hurting Bush badly.

I think an address to the nation at 8:00 would be better. Then a presser after a brief presentation on the efficacy of Sarin and it's historical uses in Kurdistan.
