"Antidotes to nerve gases similar to sarin are so effective that top poison gas researchers predict they eventually will cease to be a war threat."

Note the new spin at the end of the story...? Well okay...there's nerve gas in Iraq..but hey it's not such a big deal, the antidotes cure it so instantly so really..nerve agents aren't WMD's any more...so lets get back to bashing Bush!

"The round was an old binary-type requiring the mixing of two chemical components in separate sections of the cell before the deadly agent is produced," Kimmitt said. "The cell is designed to work after being fired from an artillery piece."

This is very significant!! This means that the round is normally "inert" until fired and that, in order for the sarin to have been created, the planter of the device had to KNOW what was in the round and how to activate (although crudely!)

Of course, our media will ignore it.

BTW, I like the way the AP ended the article - makes you think this is no big deal. No, no bias at the AP!

The malignant leftists, and that includes Old Media, will do ANYTHING, including jeopardizing our national security, in order to see Bush lose the election.

At this point, I'm thinking a nuclear attack could happen in our country and they'd find a way to spin THAT.

Let's not forget, N. Korea - Syria connection in recent rail yard explosion in N. Korea..
And, the demand back in April (22) from Sudan that Syria remove all Syrian SCUD missiles and WMD chemical-biological materials from Sudan.. (Sudanese fear of U.S. sanctions)

I ask you..
Where are the Iraqi WMD's?
I suggest to you..
Well, they WERE in Syria, then Sudan..
They may well be in N. Korea now..

(Syria needs a good "stompin' " ... and how. )

Kaye is another pathetic individual. It's more important for him to save face than the US to be proven right about WMD.

A couple of thoughts:

1. Iraq's terrorists have effectively embarrassed Bush in the American public's eye by keeping their WMDs out of the news. Now that a significant event (one that the press cannot ignore) has occurred where a WMD was involved, the Iraqi terrorists will no longer have reasons to keep them hidden anymore. Expect more chemical attacks.

2. The Iraqi terrorists have had enough time since Baghdad was taken to unbury the weapons that Saddam had burried. Expect more chemical attacks.

3. Hans Blix is an idiot.

4. Scott Ritter is an idiot.

On MSNBC David Kay is saying that it is probably left over stuff from the Iran-Iraq war.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED that the Islamokazis have broken out the "nonexistant" WMDs.

Will John F'em Kerry, Swimmer Kennedy, et al please report to the Senate cafeteria for a heaping plate of crow, washed down with a tall, frosty glass of STFU?

the Administration should come out and say "We are very concerned that the Terrorists may have discovered a stockpile of Iraq's WMD. We are monitoring the situation closely." ... then check out the reaction of the press and libs ... if they belittle it that means they are not willing to connect the dots and do not care about the safety of the troops
