What on earth is that? It looks like an impact. The artifact [shadow, cloud?] from it remains after the flash goes away.

It is bi-directional indicating something came in from one direction.

Welcome back my friend. I'm not sure what the heck it is but some are saying it was a big rock from space. It's a pretty intriguing clip isn't it?

something the size of that 'flash' (as big as the big island of hawaii) would have created significant waves and noticed around the pacific basin... nothing of the sort has occurred (hint hint). judjing from the light pattern, the flash could have been a reflection of the sun off the water.
