BIG hug for the Cigar Marine!
I think he is a perfect example of a MAN!
As I read it, he will be allowed to remain as a Marine, even tho he lost the eye.
I fell in love with him last year, love that tank picture.
We have several threads on him, when he was hit, one of the pictures we saw, of his men protecting and moving him, was he, but it wasn't until a later thread that the picture was listed again and identified as the Cigar Marine.
Thanks to God that he has a family with him.
