Police launched a murder hunt today after a woman's body was found in a suitcase.

The body is that of a white woman in her twenties. It was discovered apparently abandoned in a house in east London. Police believe they know the identity of the victim and are trying to contact her next of kin.

Scotland Yard said officers were called to a house in Hackney Road, Bethnal Green, at 6.19am. One man was arrested at the scene and another was being sought.

Last month the dismembered body of Nasra Ismail, 27, was found in a suitcase in Regent's Canal in Islington.

In February the body of American Airlines check-in assistant Adeeba Ahmed, 27, was found in a black case in the Thames.

Suitcases and bodies!

This is too much. Two are foreign named and they say one is white, wonder what our east coast bodies are?

I see they have made an arrest, but are looking for a second man, is he in the States now?

Why are we reading about suitcases, that is my big question.

Is it a symbol?

Is it a message?

Empty = full of dead air.

Full = dead bodies.

Empty = ready for future plans.

Full = job completed.

Suitcases = Time to travel! wonder if the muslims are leaving the towns where the empty suitcases were found?

Do the bodies in the suitcases, mean "stay in this area and die?"
