Many years ago we got a call from the FBI. They were investigating a company we had business with. Sometimes I wonder how thinly they are spread to handle so much investigative work. Every time we turn around in the past few weeks there's a new report about their failings. Time for them to either increase their personnel to process leads or start taking people seriously so that there are no cracks for things to fall through. There are many law enforcement agencies with laid-off personnel due to budget cuts in a myriad of locations who are already trained in law enforcement who could capably assist the FBI if called to do so.

I agree that the FBI is spread too thin.

However, we're seeing more reports about the unresponsiveness of the FBI when people are reporting terrorist related incidents. There's no excuse for rude behavior to someone reporting and no excuse for having to BEG them to take the information.

I'm sure once Jill St. Claire has her new information up, we'll all groan with displeasure, disbelief and anger.

If the FBI ignores the reports, the consequences will be deadly.
