Check out the Google Image search "venus radar" and see if you can find your impact crater picture there. I still need to see the original OBL pic to make a good comparison.
I agree, We need to find the pic they used with an identity to be exactly sure. I would also say it's still inconclusive.
I'm sure my imagination can make me see things that may not be there.
