hmm...listening to coast to coast last night, a caller said that Mossad was indeed operating in the country with the intention of eliminating Al Qaeda agents. Hence the police pursuit in TN, and then the base incursion in GA. They relayed how when the Feds showed up, they let the Israelis walk.
I am sure there is some law against our own agents actually terminating operatives, the ACLU would have a fit.....so turn a blind eye to allies in the WOT.

I remember hearing that on the show. It's an interesting theory and not without merit. I'm not sure I buy it though. It does sound like the plan to put foreign troops on US soil to avoid all those messy laws like "posse comitatus".
