The new headline today about how the US-led war on Iraq is far from countering terrorism and has helped revitalise the Al-Qaeda terror network was put out by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). I went to the IISS website

http://www.iiss.org

to see if I could find more information, and what I found was interesting. It is registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee and is a charity governed by councils made up primarily of French, German, and libs. The Mission statement sounds like it was written by Hillary.

I may very well be incorrect in my impression, but the headline basically states that Bush (Iraqi war) revitalised al Qaeda. snipped - "If Iraq fails, or reverts to a dictatorship, positive recent developments may fade... the U.S. would be seen as an unredeemed aggressor," the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) said in its annual global survey. And "Al-Qaeda remains a viable and effective "network of networks" and has been galvanised by the war in Iraq, according to the London-based think tank, the International Institute for Strategic Studies.?"

By putting this press release out to the media, I see it as the perfect setup to blame Bush when terror strikes.

You're dead on Honestly, but people eat this garbage up.

The article states diffinitively, that AQ's ranks have shrunk by 10% since we invaded Afgahnistan (The only stat they provide BTW) yet the headline screams AQ ranks swelling as a result of war in Iraq!!

Propaganda, pure and simple, to make it look like it's Bush's fault that they want to kill us. What hogwash!!
