Has anyone seen any major network dedicate a show or a portion of a show to what they should be doing to prepare for a terrorist attack? Nada! When it happens, they'll all be scrambling to cover the event, but none of them wears big enough pants to try to cover what should be done NOW so that people know the threats are serious and some preparation needs to be completed by all citizens. Widespread panic after a catastrophic event seems to be more what they prefer to cover. Helping people understand the threats and prepare for them is clearly a back-burner priority except for conservative talk radio hosts who are openly discussing our vulnerability.
